If you are a man who has excessively large breasts, you may be a candidate for a male breast reduction (gynecomastia). If you have excess or sagging tissue in your chest area after loosing a large amount of weight, you may also benefit from a male breast reduction. This procedure is intended to give you a flatter chest with a more masculine male contour.
Male breast reduction is done on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia but can be done with sedation and local anesthesia. Excess breast tissue or fat can be removed with liposuction, excision, or a combination of the two. Excess skin can also be excised.
