The Fraxel re:pair™ laser system delivers a new type of treatment called Fractional Deep Dermal Ablation (FDDA™) treatment, which utilizes a CO2 laser to produce similar effectiveness to traditional bulk ablative treatments, with less expected downtime and risks. The Fraxel re:pair laser system is distinguished by its ability to ablate tissue deep within the dermis. The treament is made up of deep microscopic ablated zones surrounded by undamaged tissue, rather than a thin, general ablation of the entire surface like traditional CO2 lasers.
Dr. Fitzpatrick and Dr. Groff worked on the original prototype of this machine and Dr. Fitzpatrick has been involved with the development of this technology since its inception. They both lecture and teach this procedure to other physicians on an ongoing basis.

Mini re:pair
In addition to the full re:pair treatment, we also offer the mini re:pair. This is a lighter version of the re:pair and is done at a lower energy, offering less downtime and healing. Depending on the needs of the patient, it can reduce fine lines and wrinkles, pigment, etc. just like the full re:pair. Some patients achieve optimal results with one mini re:pair, while others may opt for multiple treatments.
